Fun in the rain (Human RP)

The man glared at her, "He is a minor, I am his father. Sadly unless he consults me he is technically not supposed to be with anyone or taken by anyone."

Jae felt something soft under him and caring arms around him, he opened his eyes glancing at Claire for a moment before whispering, "Thank you," in a hoarse, quiet whisper.

Before Alia could say anything, she quickly released him, rushing to stand beside her father as a police car pulled over and got out, asking Layton what'd happened.

(Epic finger points scene) "This man has raped his child; He must be brought to justice!" Alia nodded agreement, clinging to her fathers coat tightly.

Claire smiled softly and nodded, leaving the room to let him sleep.

A teenage girl walked calmly up to Jae's father, "Hey dad! What's going on?" she asked noticing the officer. Jae's father smiled, "Janey, sweetheart. Have I ever mistreated you?" Janey laughed, "That's the craziest thing I've ever heard!" what Janey didn't know it that her father loved her. Not her twin brother. Jae.

"Just because you treat this young lady nicely doesn't mean you don't abuse your son." Layton said lowly.

"I don't have a brother!" Janey said confused. "Dad, mom said we need to go back home now."

"No, I'm afraid we're going to have to take all of you in for questioning. This is now a case." one of the men said and opened the door of the police car; "Please, get in."

Janey dropped her act, "Guess what, I have a brother! A twin one! But he's just a piece of sh*t and I don't care about him! Now leave us alone!" she crossed her arms glaring at anyone who looked at her.

"Madam, get in the car, please. I don;t want to have to use force..." The man sighed. If she was lying, it was clear something was being hidden from them all.

"You have no right, and no evidence," Janey said crossing her arms smugly. A woman walked up to them joining her husband and daughter, "Janey is correct, he's a piece of sh*t who's half blind. No one cares." the woman said glaring at the officer.

"Actually, as members of the Scotland Yard, we have every right to bring you to jail for verbal harassment right this moment." The man said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Now get in the car; This is your last chance."

Janey sat on the ground while her mother got inside the car. Janey's father stood in-between looking skeptical.

Once the three were taken away to be questioned, Alia and Layton walked home, telling Claire the news.

Alia scurried off to Jae's room and quietly opened the door, peeking in. "J-Jae... a-are you o-okay..?" she called in softly.

Jae tossed nd turned in bed before sitting up and putting his head in his hands trying not to cry again.

"Jae..." Alia walked in and sat beside him on the bed. She rested her hand on his back lightly, beginning to rub his back soothingly. "It... it's alright now, I promise. O-okay..?"

"You're so different from Janey," Jae muttered, "It's like your a different breed of girl," he explained hugging her lightly.

"You don't have to worry about that now though, so... It's alright, see..?" Alia held his tightly, resting her head on his shoulder. "It's okay, my little blue Jae..."

Jae laughed and stood out of bed, "Do I look blue to you?" he asked jokingly, then he realized he was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. "Wait, maybe I do look a bit blue..."

Alia giggled, standing and walking over to the door. "Come on, time for dinner. Momma made soup tonight~!"

Jae smiled following her out the door and nearly fainted. The smell was just wonderful, and certainly a good sign that whatever they were going to eat would be really good.

Alia trotted into the kitchen, taking her seat next to her waiting father. "Jae, I hope you feel better; Dinner should help if you don't!" Once everyone had taken their seat, Claire put the bowls and spoons down on the table, taking her own seat. "If everyone's ready, let's eat!"

"Feeling better? I've never felt as great!" Jae said happily as he sat down.

"Wonderful!" Layton smiled at him before ruffling his hair playfully. "And may I ask... If you'd like to be a part of this family..? Claire, Alia and I would be most pleased if you stayed with us from now on without chance of your parents being able to take you again."

Unless they want to go to court, and I don't think they do.

Jae grinned before hugging Claire then Layton and then Aria, "Absolutely!" he said with one of the truest smiles on his face, ever:

Alia giggled at the hug, watching Jae. "Jae's my brother now, haha!" Layton laughed lightly and pat her head lightly. "Welcome to the family, Jae." Claire said.

Jae did a happy dance around the table before sitting back down and picking up his spoon.
