ShadowClan's Camp

Not knowing the leader was crying, she said, "Shadowpaw... she was just too small..." She swallowed and forced, "She died while you where out on patrol."

"W-what." Violetstar said, still crying for the sake of Gingerstep.

The medicine cat looked up when the leader returned and padded over to the den. "Violetstar, I have urgent news..." The cat mewed sadly.

(Sorry!)

Violetstar let a few tears fall, then looked around at her cats, still crying softly. "Okay...nothing's here, it's on....R-River-c-Clan territory...." Violetstar sniffled, "Let's continue." The cats looked concerned, but said nothing.

Violetstar soon returned to camp with the rest of the patrol. Not thinking about Shadowpaw at the moment, she walked into her den. She curled up into a tight ball, crying into her paws. This wasn't like her, the clan would find out the truth sooner or later.

(Why did the Medicine Cat leave? Shouldn't he be watching her? Unless he's evil too, lol)

(OMG! I'm watching your youtube video, then I come to reply to this, and all I hear is "YOU GOTTA BE QUIET NOW...!" Holy crap! It scared me.)

Violetstar stiffened. "I smell fox." Her stomach seemed to flip upside down and twist, when she realized it was on RiverClan's side of the border. Oh no! Not their! Gingerstep...my daughter, please be safe! She thought frantically and tears flowed down her face.
"Violetstar...you alright?" Asked a rusty colored tom.
"Y-yeah...just f-f-fine." Violetstar stuttered.

While Violetstar was gone, the worst happened. The medicine cat was standing outside the den, waiting for all the warriors and apprentices to return.

Violetstar flicked her tail tip to show that she had heard. She continued to walk away to the warriors den. She gathered a few warriors and apprentices and left the camp for a border patrol.

Shadowpaw's nose twitched when she smelt the squirrel and she opened her eyes in time to see Violetstar leaving. "T-thank you!" she rasped as loudly as she could to be heard, then began couching. "hush, don't speak." The medicine cat said and she sighed roughly. She greatfully ate the pray, but had to force herself to finish it. She always enjoyed the rare visits from her leader; It helped keep her going.

Violetstar yawned, waking up with a stretch. She had gone to visit Shadowpaw as much as she could, which wasn't often. She walked out and picked up a large squirrel and carried over to the medicine cat den. She walked in, not in the mood to be invited. She dropped the squirrel in front of Shadowpaw with a smile. She was worried about her, and desperately didn't want her to die. Otterwhisker was a bit angry with her for telling Shadowpaw about them, but in the end decided that it was okay. Violetstar let out a troubled sigh before walking out of the den.

For a long time, Shadowpaw remained in the medicine den, getting worse every day. Luckily, no other cats had gotten sick yet. Smoothpaw was also getting rather thin, sleeping most of the days away. She always wished to be by Violetstar's side; She felt safe around her leader. She thought of her as a mother.

What have I ever done to you, StarClan! I tried all my life to get rid of ShadowClan's awful reputation! Do you not want that! Violetstar thought angrily.

The cat nodded agreement and went back to the den to tend to Shadowpaw. Inside, she had fallen asleep again, lying on the soft nest in a cozy little corner. She was almost invisible in the shadows, but her raspy breathing could still be heard.

Violetstar nodded, afraid now. First my kit of greencough, maybe now my apprentice of whitecough! Oh StarClan no! "May StarClan watch over her and make sure she survives." She mewed.

After a while, The medicine cat padded out of the den, approaching Violetstar with a worried look. "Violetstar, Shadowpaw has whitecough, I'm afraid. I will do everything I can to heal her and to prevent it from spreading." The cat mewed.

As worried as Violetstar was, she couldn't stay in thee medicine cat den with Shadowpaw. Please don't die on me! No, not another one!

Shadowpaw gladly accepted the help, leaning against Violetstar as they struggled to the den. When she was inside the dry den, she collapsed onto the ground, her tired limbs refusing to keep her up any longer. She groaned in pain, closing her eyes.

"You don't look to good." Violetstar mewed, worry reflected in her eyes. "Here, I'll help you." She twitched her whiskers, walking next to Shadowpaw. "Just lean on my shoulder and I'll walk you over to the medicine cat den."

OOC: Okay then! =D I'll start now. =P

IC: When Shadowpaw woke, she'd never felt more terrible in her life. She hurt everywhere, she could barely see anything and her breathing was raspy. She was sick, no doubt about it. She forced herself to her paws, stumbling slightly, and began her difficult trek to the medicine cat's den. "I-I need to-to go." She rasped to her leader.

(Sure, cause then Violetstar would be freaking out, like, "OH NOEZ! I CAN'T LOOSE ANOTHER ONE!!!" D: And stuff)

OOC: I ment to type an R but my hand slipped. OTL; I fixed it. Any, how about it? It's be a huge drama for the leaded and Shadowpaw, so...

(What the heck is heals of something?? LOL)

OOC: yeah. Maybe shadowpaw gets sick, almost died then comes back and heals or something? It is cold and that rain did her in good. How 'bout that?

(Um, not sure. Violetstar's gunna be up for a while, though. She already slept.)

OOC: I got nudden for the next mystery in this XD got any ideas how this should continue? My character's asleep. X3
