WindClan's Territory

Tickfur yelped in fear, but was surprised when Leapordfang moved her to the side protectively and attacked the red-furred warrior. "no, stop, please!" She pleaded, unable to bear the sight of blood.

Leopardfang purred, but still glared at Redmoon. "Now go, your not needed this time." He swished his tail and looked down at Tickfur. "There's no shame in what you just said. I love you too, Tickfur, and I hope you know that." He turned his head to look over at Redmoon again, still growling a bit. When Redmoon tried to attack Tickfur, Leopardfang snarled, pushing her aside and leaping in front of her. Bearing his teeth, he lunged at Redmoon, claws extended.

Redmoon took a step back in surprise, then snarled. "Why you little... You little monster!" He howled in rage and lashed out at her with claws and teeth.

Tickfur swallowed fearfully. She knew she loved Leapordfang, but she was so scared with emotions; She could never handle them alone. After a long moment of silence, she leaned against her deputy slightly and whispered, "Leopardfang. I... I love Leapordfang..." She felt her fur prickle in shame, but she didn't want a fight to break out. Anything but that.

"I say we let her decide, if she can't, then it's a fight." Leopardfang snarled, lashing out his tail.

Redmoon let his claws slide out as well, fur bristling and he spat at Leapordfur. "You wanna fight?! I'll give you a fight! The winner gets the girl, how about that?!" He howled angrily, digging his claws into the ground, fury glinting in his eyes.

Leopardfang watched Tickfur run behind him, letting a small purr rise in his throat. He glared at Redmoon through narrowed eyes. "Says you, but that won't change how I feel. She's not your mate, unlike everybody else. She knows who she belongs with, and it's anybody but you!" He snarled, baring his fangs and unsheathing his claws. He would fight if he had too.

Redmoon hissed and padded up to the deputy angrily. "Tickfur is mine; She loves me! She even told me herself, isn't that right?" He lied smoothly, looking at the she-cat lovingly. He glared at Leapordfang again and said, "I don't care if you have any feelings for her, you're not going to steal my mate!" He was always a great liar, which was what had led him to becoming the way he was.

Tickfur swallowed nervously and tried to edge away from Redmoon, not particularly liking the closeness. She knew he was a played and was always sensitive when it came to her feelings, so she never liked that cat. When Leopardfang spoke, she took her chance to run to his side, unintentionally seeming to hide behind him.

Leopardfang growled, seeing Redmoon. Angrily lashing his tail, he watched Redmoon and Tickfur. Angry as he was, he couldn't do anything about love, even if he was deputy. He needs to learn his place here... He thought bitterly. "This hunting expedition- was supposed to be just us, Redmoon, not you."

"Mind if I join?" A tom with unusual red fur padded over and sat in the cool grass. Redmoon smiled at Tickfur and padded over to her. "My, aren't we looking cute today?" He purred and twined his tail with hers daringly. He always had a thing for her, but he was known for hitting on all the she-cats in the clan. It only ended with him leaving his mate for another. This would, most likely, be no exception.

Tickfur watched Leopardfang and smiled slightly. She sniffed the air until she picked up the scent of another rabbit. Th9ugh, she hunted in a different way than her deputy did. She lowered herself, close to the ground, and silently crept forward. The rabbit looked up and she froze. When a breeze blew, she leaned with the force of it. The furry animal mistook her for dead grass and went back to nibbling on a few strands of green, only to find itself under her paws. She broke it's neck quickly and smiled to herself. 'Can a Kittypet do that? I think not! Well... I'm sure some of them can.' She thought and laughed lightly.

Leopardfang looked over at Tickfur with a smile. She was truly beautiful, but he had to be serious. He was the deputy, and he had to hunt for his clan. He sniffed the air once again, then spotted a rabbit far off. He ran, easily getting closer to the rabbit. When it saw him, it pelted off just ahead of him. He flattened his ears, and turned suddenly, coming up beside the rabbit, he leaped, letting it run ahead of him. He landed down behind it, and flashed out his paw, throwing it up high, and letting it fall. Quickly he picked it up, snapping it's neck with his powerful jaws.

OOC: I'll set the scene lolz

IC: A warm breeze blew across the moor land, making the grasses roll like a vast ocean of water. A few fluffy white clouds floated slowly in the orange and purple sky, the fiery red sun setting. It was a beautiful Greenleaf evening, soon to be a warm night with a lovely, cool breeze. Tickfur took note of this, standing in the tall grasses, letting the wind blow into her silk soft fur. She took a deep breath and slowly breathed out, her mind and soul feeling at peace. 'Now I can begin hunting.' she thought. 'I'll show Leopardfang what I can really do!'

Leopardfang scented the air for any rabbits.
